In 2 Life Youth Suicide Survey

In 2 Life has launched a first of its kind survey, asking young people when they first expressed their thoughts of attempting or completing suicide.

Our Nichole announced as Young Victorian of the Year

A proud moment today, as our very own In 2 Life volunteer, Nichole Hussey was announced Young Victorian of the Year for her work in the prevention of youth suicide.

The 24-year-old was a founding member of our Facebook group, which supports young people who are at risk.

Ms Hussey said the award belonged not just to her, but every member of the team at In 2 Life and she hoped the publicity would help encourage more people to donate their time to the project.

“We just want to get a higher amount of volunteers, because I’m hoping after today we’ll get more members,” Ms Hussey said.

The In 2 Life Facebook group has about 17,000 members and 20 volunteers.
